A lovely thought from 1931

I came across this on X. It's usually credited to Nadine Stair, 85, of Louisville, but it appears to be adapted from a 1931 essay by Don Herold.

Clipping of the essay 'If I Had My Life to Live Over,' credited to Nadine Stair, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky. The writer says they would make more mistakes, relax, take fewer things seriously, travel lighter, and pick more daisies.
"If I Had My Life to Live Over," as it usually circulates. Adapted from Don Herold's "I'd Pick More Daisies," College Humor, December 1931. Quote Investigator.

Either way, it's a lovely thought. We spend far too much time planning and too little living.
